Global trade fairs are back! Gurelan showcases its solutions at MIDEST 2021
After two years without being able to attend the major European trade fairs related to the die casting industry, Gurelan is preparing MIDEST 2021 with great expectations set on one of the main subcontracting events in the world. From September 6th to 9th, the French city of Lyon will be gathering Europe´s major industrial players for a large-scale congress that is once again the flagship of European and French industry, an event strongly committed to the future.
We are once again travelling around Europe to deploy our solutions and take part in the biggest industrial event since 2020. On September 6th, 7th, 8th and 9th, the French city of Lyon will host MIDEST 2021: a great opportunity to showcase Gurelan´s know-how and expertise, to innovate, to establish new partnerships and, finally, to meet face-to-face with some of our main partners, customers and suppliers.
Gurelan is ready to attend MIDEST 2021, one of the world´s leading subcontracting trade fairs and the most important in France, the EU country with the most active industrial subcontracting market, along with Germany. As an industrial leader in Zamak and Magnesium die casting, Gurelan will take advantage of this opportunity, an unique scenario to introduce or consolidate the presence of Spanish companies in France (the main international market for Basque companies), as well as in the rest of Europe.

Held at the amazing Eurexpo in Lyon, MIDEST is the benchmark platform for exchanges between contractors and subcontractors, with a large number of major players in the automotive sector and the metal processing industry. Indeed, it is the ideal scenario to showcase the quality and efficiency of the Zamak and Magnesium die casting solutions that Gurelan has been developing for almost a century.

MIDEST: much more than an industrial trade fair
MIDEST is held as part of the GLOBAL INDUSTRIE business meeting, simultaneously with the trade fairs INDUSTRIE (production technologies), SMART INDUSTRIES (industry of the future and 4.0) and TOLEXPO (machinery for metal sheet, coils, tubes and profiles).
In order to coordinate efforts and make the most of this event for the development of the industrial and commercial network of all participating companies, the Spanish Chamber of Commerce and the Chamber of Commerce of Gipuzkoa are organising the group participation of Spanish companies in the MIDEST 2021 fair, with the support of ICEX Spain Export and Investment within the framework of the 2021 Sectorial Plan.
