Gurelan Participates in TEDFUN´s 2026 General Assembly
The event brought together professionals and companies from the sector to discuss the evolution of die casting and share experiences regarding the industry´s challenges and opportunities.
On May 29, Gurelan attended the 2026 General Assembly of TEDFUN (Spanish Technical Association for the Development of Die Casting), held at Villa-Lucía in Laguardia (Álava, Spain). The event brought together company representatives and professionals from the die casting sector for a day focused on knowledge sharing, business collaboration, and the analysis of the challenges facing the industry.
During the meeting, the association presented the main activities carried out over the past year, as well as the initiatives planned for the coming months. The Assembly also served as a meeting point for participants to discuss industry developments, exchange experiences, and strengthen relationships among TEDFUN member companies.
One of the highlights of the day was the presentation of the 2025 Annual Report and the 2026 Activities Report, which reviewed the initiatives promoted by the association and the projects that will shape its activities throughout the current year.
The technical session featured a presentation by Óscar Iñigo of Carrasco Tool Components, who delivered an insightful talk focused on advanced solutions for optimizing die casting processes. His presentation addressed topics related to thermal management and venting systems, showcasing different approaches to improving productivity, extending mold life, and enhancing the final quality of cast components.
In addition to the working sessions, the Assembly provided an excellent opportunity for networking among participating companies, encouraging the exchange of ideas and strengthening professional relationships within the sector.
