Carbon Footprint Declaration 2015–2024

At Gurelan S.L., we are firmly committed to minimizing our environmental impact and driving progress toward a sustainable future. This commitment is reflected not only in our ambitious goals but also in the tangible results we have already achieved.

Between 2015 and 2024, we successfully reduced our CO₂e intensity (per unit of sales) by 94,02%, a milestone that demonstrates the effectiveness of our strategy and the dedication of our entire team.

These achievements are the result of continuous efforts to optimize processes, invest in energy-efficient technologies, rely on renewable energy, and collaborate with our partners to implement sustainable solutions.

One of the most important steps was taken in October 2023, with the installation of solar panels.

With a capacity of 227,24 kWh, they currently cover between 9–12% of the company’s electricity consumption. Thanks to this investment, our operations have become more energy-efficient, energy costs have decreased, and our carbon footprint has been significantly reduced, building on the progress already made with previous actions.

This transition marks a turning point in our mission: contributing to a more sustainable future while ensuring efficiency, competitiveness, and responsibility toward our environment.
